For the last 5 years I’ve been working at large banks and the risk appetite for letting staff speak at events and conferences was low. The potential brand risk was too high in their eyes. So apart from internal corporate events, it’s been a long dry spell since I’ve done any externally facing public speaking.
That changes later this month.
We run a monthly meetup called Expert Talks, and this month it’s my turn. At our last event of 2018, I threw up a “choose your topic” poster at the back of the room and the topic that won out was “The simple secrets to an agile organisation”.
Come along and heckle me as try and find my voice again!
