My story

Hi, I'm Tony Nguyen and i'm the founder and principal consultant at Sashimi Consulting Group.

My journey began at a software start-up called Altiris where I helped grow the team from 10 people in Sydney to 600 worldwide over a 5 year period. That experience included an IPO and then subsequently an acquisition by Symantec.

I relocated to the US and spent 6 years working and travelling the globe, running Program management and Engineering divisions across multiple geographic locations, including Australia, India, Europe and the US.

In 2013, I returned to Australia to raise a family and have been focused on Enterprise transformations at Optus, Westpac and CBA.

I am passionate about growing future leaders and phenomenal teams, and this continues to influence and guide my approach today.

I've met and worked with some brilliant people in my career and if I can't personally help you,  I will recommend someone in my network who can.

When i'm not working - chasing fish with a fly-rod has historically been my primary hobby, but I now spend most of my days chasing after a 3 year old toddler who is much harder to catch.
